Directed by our dude Daymon Green, photographer, musician, designer, director and all-around renaissance man Michael Sterling Eaton profiles one of New York City’s hottest up-and-coming boutiques, Coat of Arms (COA).
Offering dead-stock sports apparel, collectible vinyl toys, and new streetwear, the eighties-loving Lower East Side shop is adorned with illustrated skateboards that clash beautifully with the swirly violet-paisley wallpaper while a mixture of hip-hop and hits from eighties icons like David Bowie play overhead. Angled, built-in shelves display an array of dead-stock knit caps sporting logos for the Lakers, Knicks, Giants, Bulls and more with the extensive selection of pro-sports fan clothing spanning one full side of the store. For those more interested in dated logos than sports, racks in the rear of the store hold vintage North Face windbreakers, throwback neon JanSport fanny packs, plaid Ralph Lauren button-downs, Reebok gear, and Mercedes Benz, Cadillac, and FILA tee shirts, not to mention Kidrobot hoodies and dead-stock KangaROOS sneakers.
Be sure to check out COA if you’re in the Five Boroughs – otherwise, check out some of our similar brands in Vintage Eyewear, And Still x For All to Envy and Vintage Deadstock.

The Blogs’ future ex-wife Nicki Minaj rocked the hell out of the Joyrich Motor Vest in the video for DJ Khaled’s “All I Do is Win” remix from a couple months back. While the video is better played on mute in our opinion (did you read the post below on Cro-Mags? – ed.), our girl slayed us a few times over with not only her jaw-dropping booty – er, beauty - but also with such gems as “You can talk slick all the way down to the welfare /Ask the I.R.S., bitch, I’m payin’ for ya health care.” Ouch – listening, Lil’ Kim?
Unfortunately, the vest is as gone as Busta’s dreads, T-Pain’s gimmick, Diddy’s alleged chin, Fabolous’ career, and all of the plates at the buffet when Fat Joe, Khaled and Rick Ross show up (sorry, but we really don’t like the song). However, you can check out the latest Joyrich drops for men here and for women here.
p.s. Happy Friday:

Dude must have an album coming out.
Surly ol’ 50 Cent called into a Def Jam conference call with rapper Shyne recently, and… well, 50-ness ensues. But check out ORISUE’s Kilburne S/S Buttondown that Curtis is rockin’ throughout the call!
Karmaloop has the Kilburne and much, much more from the ORISUE Crew following it’s drop last week – click here to check out the Fall 2010 collection.

Team NEFF represented at last Sunday’s Orange County edition of the Maloof Money Cup, with riders Ryan Decenzo, Adam Dyet, Jordan Hoffart and Tyler Hendley helping to tear the course apart.
David Gravette won the Cup’s Tech Deck Best Trick competition, barely edging out Dyet who skated off with the $10,000 prize last summer. It took damned near 20 tries, but Gravette landed a 50-50 kick flip down a rail to win over the crowd and the judges. “I really like this beer,” Gravette said following the win.
Ryan Decenzo also placed for NEFF, securing $4,000 in his bank account and a respectable seventh place finish in the Volcom Street Pro Finals. Click the video above to check out some Team NEFF highlights!

Along with Karmaloop‘s own Bad Rabbits, Wiz Khalifa teamed with Boston’s Young Riot, M-Dot and Ryan Leslie to perform in front of more than 10,000 heads at Boston’s City Hall Plaza last Saturday afternoon. Our locals killed it for the hometown crowd, and Wiz showed some Boston love with a forthcoming ®Society Original Products tank.
Check out some flicks from the BUMP performance after the jump:
Props to photographer Derek Kouyoumjian and our pals at The Boston Phoenix for the flicks!

Our folks at Shamele$$ Management sent over some shots of artists Jasmine Solano and Skotch Davis rockin’ the new Supply Circuit x BLVCK SCVLE x GSHOCK 5600 at a recent show in The Big Apple.
Demand for the uber-exclusive, limited edition 5600 watch has been higher than bird dick since it dropped, got copped and sold out – thankfully, your pals at Karmaloop hooked it up with another re-stock. Just don’t sleep this time around!
