Uber-romantic outerwear manufacturers Spiewak are getting together with 1.800.Flowers for a Valentine’s Day contest to give the love of your life a lovely bouquet and a heart/arm/torso-warming jacket on the sweetest day of the year, and it could be one of the easiest damned contests we’ve ever heard.
All you have to do to reverse the scorn of one too many trip to the titty bar is post “I Heart Spiewak” on the brand’s Facebook page between today, February 5th, through midnight on February 9th and the lucky winnner will be selected at random by Spiewak.
Good luck! And if all else fails, just remember: apologize, apologize, apologize.

We asked you lovely ladies and gentleman last December to put your graphic design skills to task by creating a tee shirt for one of our most innovative brands, the unfuckwithable Aknowledge crew. Thousands replied, hundreds actually followed the contest guidelines this time around, and after tallying your votes we have finally sorted through the madness and selected a worthy winner – Monsignor Billy Bayne out of Ottawa, Ontario in the Great White North of Canadaland. For his efforts, Billy’s tee will be sold exclusively through Karmaloop.com under the Aknowledge banner. Not a bad start towards becoming the next streetwear kingpin.
On behalf of Aknowledge, we would like to thank all of those who participated. Congratulations again to our dude Billy Bayne, and to those of you who missed out this time around… we’re very disappointed in you. Good luck on the next contest!

And away we go…
In what is quite possibly the easiest contest in Karmaloop history, we’re proud to announce the latest with our Boston brethren ®Society Original Products and actor Sam Jones III (Smallville, ER, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation); our dude Sam’s latest television show, Blue Mountain State, premieres tonight, January 12, on SpikeTV at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Sam will be reppin’ ®S.O.P. with The Housing Track Jacket in tonight’s episode and once you spot it, send your name, shipping address and t-shirt, hat and sweatshirts sizes to contest@karmaloop.com for your chance to win some free gear!
We’re gonna keep this going throughout the debut season of Blue Mountain State as ®S.O.P. will be featured prominently throughout three episodes (“Promise Ring,” “Piss Test,” and a third mystery episode), so if you miss out on your chance to win some free ®Society gear tonight, either stay tuned or TiVo that shit!
We’ve got ®Society Original Products tees, hats and sweatshirts ready to go, so check out the video below for details, watch the show tonight, and good luck!

Fuck the Holidays.
We spend the entire year trying to be good (or at least not getting caught), and for what? Shitty gifts? Pffft.
Well, this year was different. We’ve been some terrible, awful, no-good, very bad human beings, and we want to be rewarded for the lack of effort. Now, there has gotta be plenty of you out there who could sympathize… or better yet, share your debaucherous ways with us.
That’s right, we want to hear allllll about how bad you’ve been this year, and there’s a $50 Karmaloop gift code in it for you to bring a fresh look and fresh start to the new year.
From now until December 24th, send the best of your worst acts throughout the past year to andrew@karmaloop.com with subject line “I’ve Been Bad” and we’ll post the three most cringe-worthy stories each night on the blog for the rest of you to judge (names will be omitted to protect the guilty, we promise). The best act of villany from each day will be determined by you, the readers, via Karmaloop Blog and Facebook comments – once we have all picked out the three stories that would absolutely disgust “normal” people, we’ll hold the final voting on December 25th for the $50 Grand Prize Gift Code.
We start now, so take that unofficial 10-minute break, ditch math class or step out of the unemployment line to send us a horror story – good luck!
(In the meantime, check out some of our picks for the degenerate motherfuckers on your Bad List this year:)

Contest tiiimmmeee, whowantsomemotherfuckin‘ FREE LRG?
And this is probably as easy as it gets. No trivia. No scavenger hunt. No sending nude photos of your moms and sisters to The Blogs. All you have to do is provide us with:
- First and Last name;
- Ship-to address;
- Sizes (T-Shirt, Sweatshirt, Hat).
Once you have it figured out, mail that shit to contest@karmaloop.com with the subject line reading “Lifted Research Group x Karmaloop Contest” every week by 7:00 p.m. EST on the following dates:
- December 14, 2009;
- December 21, 2009;
- December 28, 2009;
- January 4, 2010.
Yes, that means we will have one new winner for each of those consecutive four weeks. By the way, one entry per household (we’ll fuckin’ hunt you cheaters down, don’t even try it. Not only is our IT team brilliant, they’re quite savage), and we start TONIGHT, so get to it!
Oh, and this is what you lovelies could potentially win:
- Week 1: LRG Icon Watch;
- Week 2: LRG / Oakley Snow Goggles;
- Week 3: LRG Backpack;
- Week 4: LRG Outfit from Fall/Holiday Collection (Includes 1 tee, 1 sweatshirt or hoody, 1 denim, and 1 hat or beanie).
Not bad – good luck!
Legal shit:
By Entering the contest, each contestant agrees to Karmaloop’s Privacy Policy and to receiving Karmaloop’s weekly E-mail Newsletter.

… for a great cause, of course.
Providing opportunities for young people to engage in the creative and performing arts, The Kanye West Foundation helps students develop the necessary skills to remain in school and get that diploma. As a permanent tribute to Dr. Donda West’s extraordinary legacy and passion for education and children, the foundation partners with schools and community organizations to provide under-privileged youth access to music production and academic support programs to help them to unleash their creative ability and realize their full potential. We’re excited to do our part to help with this auction where every dime of each winning bid goes directly to The Kanye West Foundation.
First item up for bidding: The exclusive Kanye West Foundation Loop Dreams Tee. One of just five produced, it’s autographed by ‘Ye so don’t wash it if you win it.

Second item up: An autographed copy of Kanye’s debut book Thank You and You’re Welcome; Filled with “Kanye-isms” as well as dude’s um… unique views on everything from fashion to music. Don’t wash this one, either.

We have a little more than one day left of bidding for these items, so grab your wallets, your checkbook, mom’s pocketbook (just kidding, don’t do that) and check out the auction page; we’ll have new items up every day until the 18th when you get your crack at a fresh pair of Air Yeezys!

That’s right, kids! It’s fuckin’ CONTEST TIME once again! And for all of you idiots- we mean, good people on Twitter, this should be easy.
We’re going to be sending out a twit… what? Oh, tweet. Yeah, we’ll tweet a clue every week hinting at once of RVCA’s advocates – artist, musician, skater, surfer, or all-around badass – and you have to do the research and let us know who it is by responding to our Karmaloop Tweeter feed. Twitter. Whatever.
First things first: get familiar! Check out www.rvca.com (or the blog from earlier this week) and learn the RVCA roster of skateboarders, surfers, artists and musicians (basic shit – we won’t expect you to know if the carpet matches the drapes or anything… or would we?). Once you’re good and full of useless knowledge, post your answer on twitter.com/Karmaloop and re-twat… tweet… twit… *sigh*. Re-post your answer to twitter.com/RVCA for your chance to win a RVCA product pack! Here’s what’s in the prize pack, nosey:
* One RVCA t-shirt;
* One pair of RVCA denims;
* One RVCA jacket;
* One RVCA hat.
Not too shabby. We’ll select one random winner from all of the correct answers and announce them on these following days:
* Monday December 7th
* Monday December 14th
* Monday December 21st
* Monday December 28th
Hmmm… December 7th… you know what that means: we’ve already started!
Here’s the first clue to be Twattered… Tweetered… Twittered later on tonight (you know loyal Blog readers get first dibs):
These two members of the RVCA Artist Network Program followed up their recent gallery show “Vagos y Reinas” at the Robert Berman Gallery by collaborating on a mural installed on the walls of the RVCA headquarters in Costa Mesa, California:

Got it? GO! Godspeed and good luck!
… and, if someone wants to help us make a Twitter account so we know what the fuck we’re talking about, then by all means help a blogger out.
