Gawwwd-DAMN…
Mishka just released a video look book highlighting some of the brand’s pieces that will bless the site in just a few days… and it’s worth watching way more than once as Mishka go-to model Chloe Wise absolutely steals the show.
The Death Adders and Keep Watch logos are all back in full, new effect, as is the brand’s distinct, trademark street-prep-style, vibrant colorways, killer cut & sew and all-around fun, fun, fun.
Looks like Mishka has some killer shit on deck for the autumn season – click the video (shot by the notorious Fame Giant) above to check it out, and get a closer look at the collection’s photo look book here.

The latest Lot F get-down is jumping off Wednesday, August 4th, at Boston’s Via Matta restaurant.
Featuring fashion, art, music and enoteca (we think that’s fancy talk for “booze,” or something), the jam starts at 7:00 p.m., but get there early – Via Matta cuisine is BOMB, and it tastes all that much better when it’s complimentary, even more so when it’s washed down with FREE booze, so… hey, know what? Better make sure you get there after The Blogs so we can, um, make sure the free food and free booze is, you know, good enough for you… yeah…
In all seriousness, the show features new work from Adam O’Day, Todd Robertson and Felipe Ortiz with audio provided by the one and only DJ Knife, so fuckin’ be there!
Words to the wise: don’t let friends edit your modeling shots.

Another hung-over and productive day in the Karmaloop photo room!

The Ames hotel, developed in a 19th-century building considered to be Boston’s first skyscraper, will open [November] 19.

After an influx of upscale properties in the city, the Ames is the last new hotel scheduled to open in the foreseeable future.

Built by the Ames family as the headquarters for its tool company, the 14-story, 113-room boutique hotel at 1 Court St. will retain several original features, including marble tile floors in its restaurant and a mosaic barrel-vaulted ceiling in the entryway, shown here.

Rooms at the Ames, Boston’s first Morgans Hotel Group property, are equipped with gas fireplaces and marble showers and start at about $350 a night.

A look at the front-desk area of the hotel. The hotel is being billed as having a “Ben Franklin meets supermodel” vibe.

Steps appear behind hidden behind transparent shelves. The hotel also will include unusual touches such as chandeliers that appear to float behind hallway mirrors.

One of the hotel bars.

A guest bathroom in the Ames.

This original, winding stairway was kept in place by the hotel.

The rumors have yet to be confirmed, but what is known to be fact is that the one and only Michael Jackson, a.k.a. The King of Pop, has been rushed to the hospital with multiple news sources stating that Jackson was found not breathing when paramedics arrived at his California home. Celebrity blog sites such as TMZ and Perez Hilton have reported that Jackson is dead, but we’re going to hang tight until a reliable source is able to confirm the facts.
UPDATE: MSNBC and the Los Angeles Times has confirmed that Michael Jackson passed away at 6:15 p.m. EST. He was just 50 years-old.
Rest in peace.

It was a big day for fans of the buzz here in Boston.
Every third Monday of April, Massachusetts celebrates a regional
holiday called Patriots’ Day, giving us Massholes a three-day weekend to
celebrate… some battle fought during the Revolutionary War… we
think… Whatever the reason, Patriots’ Day is commonly thought of as an extra day-off to recover from the weekend, curse Mother Nature for not bringing summer weather soon enough, barbecue, and watch a bunch of
people run 26.22 miles from Hopkinton to the Copley Square finish line of the annual Boston Marathon held every year on the same holiday.
“Marathon Monday,” as it is lovingly referred to on college campuses throughout the Commonwealth, is furthermore a binge drinking extravaganza that becomes a final exam of sorts to prove what you really learned over the year at college. However, extra credit should be issued this year since worldwide counterculture “holiday” 04/20 falls on the 113th running of the Boston Marathon, making this year all the more special.
The good people we are here at Karmaloop, we understand that while not all of you can enjoy a three-day weekend, you can still help us celebrate “the other holiday,” and we’ve got the tools to help you enjoy the goods.
Burton’s 420 Kit, a long-time favorite in these parts from our neighbors in Vermont, has all the compartments and just the right tool to keep your stash organized, with enough room to store The DxBones Special Edition Zippo Lighter from Dissizit!. Wear your buzz on your sleeve with the Komakino Tee from Insight and The TGIF Tee from ®Society Original Products, and don’t forget to check out the latest sunglasses to hide them red eyes.
