We love these Bitches…

The Most Official Bitches in streetwear, Married to the Mob, hooked it up with the latest look book featuring head bitch in charge Leah McSweeney and her lovely lil’ sis Sarah. Awww, cute! Shot within New York’s heralded Gramercy Park Hotel, the shoot features…

… hey, why the fuck are you reading this instead of

There you go.

p.s. Leah’s blog is fucking hysterical on the daily and she has a grip of pictures posted from the look book shoot that we’re too bashful (*blush*) to post here. Go see.

Now, don’t be such a selfish asshole and remember to cop your girl(s) some gear when the latest M.O.B. drops. Then thank us later. Jerks.

We Don’t Need No Water…

All of the true graffiti heads out there know that when it comes to technique, hand-styles, fills and balls-out bombing, Germany is no joke. This much is proven with the latest heat added to the site from Bavarian-based brand Pyromaniac, blessed with redwood-sized roots in graffiti culture that has been stirring the coals of streetwear since 2003 – time to let these motherfuckers burn hella bright.

Clean lines, ridiculously intricate graphics and killer colorways is what Pyromaniac brings to the table, before they scorch it bare and leave a wake of ash and fat caps, that is. Featuring collaborations with top European writers such as SATONE, BANOS, I ARE UGLY, DISTURBANITY and, for Spring 2010, Bern, Switzerland-based Ata Bozaci, a.k.a. TOAST – check out dude’s site to see how he incorporates graffiti with architectural sensibilities. Madness.

Pyromaniac encourages people to ignore those telling us who we should be, but rather, listen to the voice inside of us and become who we are meant to be. Create a destiny, don’t settle on complacency… carpe diem and all that shit, or however it’s said in German. This crew simply burns with inspiration, inventiveness and passion for what they do, and that much is clear after a look at the latest drop here at Karmaloop. Pyromaniac will let you know that this is a new age these heads are creating, an evolution based on the graffiti elements and expanding to new places. With what is described as “urban functional,” the Pyro crew takes smoldering pride in producing garments that allow you to be comfortable enough to stay creative… and look damn good doing so.

HELLZ x VANS

hellzvans

Check out Karmaloop Founder/CEO Greg Selkoe with special guests at the Hellz x Vans launch party in New York City earlier this week, and to get a closer look at the collaboration,

“Collaborations don’t come around like this all the time. The planets must’ve been aligned or something ‘cuz the way Vans x Hellz came together was so organic… we met stylist Anika when she was doing a style pull at the office. She mentioned how she thought Hellz would be a perfect fit for the company her husband worked for – turned out her man was Jon Warren from Vans. We later linked up with him, Rian and Erica and the rest is history. Everything from there was like a dream come true. They were as invested in the collaboration as we were and we worked closely together from start to finish, making it not only easy, but an incredibly fun learning experience.” – MissLawn of Hellz

Two in the Shirt x Inked Magazine

titsinked1

As promised, here’s a sneak preview of the forthcoming Two in the Shirt x Inked Magazine collaboration starting in January, with an Inked model set to adorn a new tee each month.

“It only made sense for us to team up with Inked because we’re known for beautiful women on shirts and they pick some of the hottest and most stylish girls for their ‘Inked Girls,’” said Marek Grubel, owner and founder of T.I.T.S. “All we’re doing is providing a way for people to wear their favorite girls on a shirt and selling the shit out of it.”

The Inked series will continue to bridge the gap between the many different lifestyles and people who proudly support T.I.T.S. like a Wonderbra as Two in the Shirt has quickly become THE crossover brand in the streetwear marketplace.

Marek adds, “The goal is to have people look at our concepts and be able to relate to them. This series has the two things that every lifestyle can relate to: T.I.T.S x INK – what more could you ask for?”

Money? Model phone numbers?

Well… we won’t be greedy.

T.I.T.S. Spring 2010 Preview

“No two pair are alike.”

titsspring

Some revealing developments from Two In The Shirt at the Agenda Trade Show last weekend in Huntington Beach, California.

T.I.T.S. was kind enough to flash us the Spring 2010 collection, and it’s as evident as a pair of fresh implants that our Seattle crew keeps growing with clever concepts, bold designs and crazy collaborations with photographer Estevan Oriol, adult film star Tera Patrick and rapper Dyme Def.

“What you can expect for our first delivery of Spring 2010 is what we bring to the table every season, but this one will be the most anticipated by far,” remarked T.I.T.S. founder Marek Grubel.

“With each shirt that drops we’re telling a story behind the concept and showing fans that no two pair of T.I.T.S. are alike. For instance, the ‘Wet Dreams’ design derived from a track on [the upcoming album Sex Tape by Dyme Def], which is a project that T.I.T.S. co-produced…”

All to the good. But what we really wanna know is-

“… and yes, that is her real ass.” Duly noted.

The collaborations have us stoked. The new Wifey Tee concepts inspired by Estevan Oriol and Tera Patrick look fuckin’ killer, especially taking into consideration that each is based on what both muses love most; Tera, posing with her prized motorcycle while downing a bottle of Moet, and Oriol, putting his most popular model, Justine Jaro, to work on a flawless lowrider.

Aside from the Tera and Estevan collaborations, T.I.T.S. will be working with tattoo magazine Inked on a monthly tee series featuring the mag’s “Inked Girl,” not to mention something super-secret with heralded grafitti artist REVOK1. Stay tuned, because all of this greatness will be hitting Karmaloop around mid-February for an early hit… we know you all love T.I.T.S. as much as we do, after all.

Sweatin’ ‘em.

More so than any year past, sweaters have become more and more prominent on the site this winter and the trend has been met with open arms – by not only by us degenerates at The Blogs, but by most of you all as well seeing how quickly these fuckers go out of stock.

For good reason; cardigans are the official new shit, rocking hoodies every day is beyond us (we’re some old folks now) and the four gems below are simply too fresh to ignore.

betabanner

sweat1sweat2

The Rubicon Sweater by Beta Unit is our pick of the lot; composed of 50% alpaca wool and 40% acrylic, The Rubicon is soft enough to be the latest garment your girl conveniently “borrows” until next winter, and the additional 10% of standard wool makes this joint tough enough for your grizzled, old grand-dad to grunt at in approval. Complete with innovative leather belts at the hem and collar with antique wooden button-closure, the vintage aesthetic shares a crazy modern look when the hood is taken into account, and show us a man who doesn’t like simple welt pockets at the waist and we’ll show you a goddamned liar.

mishkbanner

sweat3sweat4

A close second from our dudes at Mishka, The Crest Shawl Collar Sweater is killin’ shit with the embroidery. The logo at the chest pops in red, and the giant green-on-green “Bad Luck Skull” embroidery at the back panel features detail deluxe on one of the hottest logos in the game. You should all know about Mishka cut & sew quality by now, but if not, this piece is the perfect introduction to one of your new favorite brands.

obeybanner

sweat5sweat6

From Shepard Fairey and Co. is The Longshore Sweater in Black, a double-breasted style from Obey that exudes more class than holding in a fart throughout a dinner date. Options is the name of the game here, offering a couple different looks depending on your personal style, the elements or the rest of your outfit. We’re partial to the fully-buttoned look, but you don’t have to take our word for it (we’re crazy).

comunebanner

sweat7sweat8

The Perez Henley Hoodie by Comune has been steady catching our eyes since it dropped, and we’ve warmed up to this one (literally) once we finally got a chance to try it out – craaazy. All the comfort and familiarity of your favorite hooded sweatshirt with the warmth and sturdiness of a sweater, and the hyper-detailed Southwestern-inspired stitching pattern beneath the solid black hood is the clincher.

All these and more live on the site right now – click here to check ‘em out.

Introducing: Ginormous

ginobanner

Finally… a lifestyle brand for those of us who think big, dream bigger, and live the largest.

Introducing the latest brand to hit Karmaloop, Ginormous is making it’s grand entrance on the site with mega-detailed prints, premier fits, rad pop culture references and a harder drive than Michael Schumaker. Keeping with it’s “go big or go home” nature, every tee produced by these large and in-charge cats is super limited-edition, so once these gems are gone, they’re gone. We’ll have you know that these guys are kind of a big deal, and trust us, plenty of folks want these tees to be on them.

gino5

gino6

Our pick of the lot has to be The Good Money Tee, featuring the marquee names of both Kanye West’s Good Music and Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money record labels. Presented with stunning artist detail (peep the signature Jesus piece on CuDi, authentic ink on Weezy and Ginormous gear laced on everyone) and a Ginormous/Good Music/Young Money hybrid logo above, we’re predicting future classic status for this tee featuring four legends in the making.

gino8

gino7

Inspired by one of the craziest lines spit by the past year’s most-hyped new artist; our dude Drake wants us to be honest, huh? In that case, we think there’s only one thing in this world better than Megan Fox… and that’s two of her, courtesy of The Lets Be Honest Tee. You all may not remember Megan’s notorious Maxim magazine spread (check your spank-bank files), but Ginormous sure does, and they did everyone a favor here by giving Ms. Fox the pin-up treatment. Thanks, fam!

gino3

gino4

Keeping on with the Young Money and Good Music theme, The After Dinner Tee is a bitter treat for all the two-faced shit-talkers out there. Ginormous must have been as floored as the rest of us when Kanye ended his verse on Keri Hilson’s breakout track  “Knock You Down” with “So what’s it gonna be – dessert or disaster?” Addressing the haters without alienating the masses has become second nature to ‘Ye throughout the past couple years, and the Ginormous piece pays tribute with a sweet blow-up.

Mmmmm… these tees look good. I mean, really good. Hey, everyone! Click the banner below and see how good these tees look!

Get OWND.

owndbanner

Five years is a long time. Hell, it took us that long to finish high school and another five just to (barely) make it through college. But five years with a clothing company? That’s a fucking lifetime.

Once that lifetime is abruptly ended, it takes about 400 submitted resumés, a shitty economy, never-ending recession and six months of sleeping in a winter coat after the heat is shut off before one decides to stop waiting for someone else to hire them and instead start their own shit.

Such is the story of our dudes Matt and Eric of Kazbah brand OWND. With extensive backgrounds in apparel, OWND began as a way to express themselves and place fate in their own hands.

“We had no money or friends in high places to help us out, but we decided that we were just gonna hustle the shit out of [OWND] and see what happens,” said Matt, travelling somewhere between heaven and hell in the Midwest. The idea was to design gear that not only they would wear, but also for friends and like-minded individuals who “operate in reality,” as Matt noted. “We wanted to be proud of the product we create and for everyone who is interested in our brand to watch it grow and be involved, rather than just see cash signs floating over their heads.”

“We go all out on OWND,” Matt continued. “We are designing, producing and printing [our gear] all sweatshop-free in the U.S., we use the best-fitting blanks in the world (Fact – ed.), and only super high-end, water-based sustainable inks for the best feel possible – nobody wants their shirt to fit like a belly-shirt and feel like a bulletproff vest made by a seven year-old kid. Our main goal here is to create the best fitting, highest qualitym, REAL apparel… for REAL people.”

Worth noting is that everything OWND does is limited-edition; no more than 200 prints of each tee is produced, keeping it so that customers are not just purchasing a mere tee-shirt, rather a limited piece of artwork that has travelled across the country with personal touches added by many different folks.

ownd1ownd2

shirtsplash2

The Razor logo came up as a result of working class lifestyle influences,” Matt said. “I have been drawing them since I was young, so when it came time to put pen to paper for our icon, this was one of the first thing I drew. I think it’s also a symbol of masculinity, independence and appreciation for taking pride in and standing behind your work.”

ownd4ownd3

ownd5ownd6

ownd_unemplyed_white

The [Unemployed is the New Black] shirt came about as a result of us getting let go during the recession,” Matt continued. We wanted to try and make the stigma of being unemployed less painful for real people to deal with… our take is definitely tongue-in-cheek, and meant for those who can relate to the current fucked-up state of the economy.”

In what is possibly one of the most epic promotions we have ever heard of, OWND ran a promotion a few months back where, upon receiving letters and e-mails that detailed individual lay-off stories, OWND would ship out a free Unemployed tee. The huge response and candid e-mails that followed only added fuel to OWND’s drive to succeed, leading to some amazing shit on deck for Spring/Summer ‘09.

“Lots of understated styles, custom hoodies and some accessories,” hinted Matt. “We will be starting our artist series as well, with some great, ultra-limited stuff with an amazing, popular artist from Philly,” not to mention some retail in regards to one-off OWND artwork that has been created in-house. Definitely keep an eye out for these cats, and be sure check out the home page at getownd.com to stay up on contests, promotions, blogs and Tweets – and click the banner below to get a closer look at the gear up on the Kazbah page for Holiday ‘09.
